The Sugar Heritage Village project focuses on preserving the memory of Trinidad and Tobago’s sugar industry, promoting our rich history and teaching people about our sugar past. In doing so however, the Sugar Heritage Village project also introduces valuable resources to the Couva / Point Lisas area, some of which never existed before. Through this project, there will be job creation and the establishment of useful facilities and resources for educational & historical, sporting & recreational, environmental and commercial purposes.
